Cincinnati's New All-Girls Sports Venue Opens Ahead of 2026 Fall Season

Seton High School broke ground on a $16 million all-girls sports complex in Delhi Township, scheduled to open for the 2026 fall sports season.

The timing places the project at the center of local preparations for high school and college athletics that begin in September. Other recent investments include the University of Cincinnati's $134 million Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility and Athletics Performance Center, which opened in June 2025 to support football programs.

Regional Projects Shape Autumn Lineups

FC Cincinnati seeks $136 million in state unclaimed funds for TQL Stadium expansion and pitch revamp to accommodate rugby and football events. The Cincinnati Open completed a $260 million overhaul of the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason in 2025, adding a 56,000-square-foot player center and a 2,000-seat sunken stadium. The Cincinnati Cyclones bought the $6.2 million Sports Plus facility in Evendale and will rebrand it as the Queen City Sportsplex for team use.

These changes affect teams across multiple venues. High school programs in the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference, Eastern Cincinnati Conference and Miami Valley Conference gain access to updated fields and courts. College football squads at the University of Cincinnati already train inside the Sheakley facility's 120-yard indoor field and 96,000-square-foot performance center.

Numbers Track Construction Timeline

The Seton project adds to a series of completed or funded builds that total more than $550 million across the listed sites. The Lindner Family Tennis Center expansion doubled its campus to over 40 acres and added 31 outdoor courts plus pickleball and padel courts. FC Cincinnati's TQL Stadium work includes premium seating upgrades, with adjacent mixed-use construction slated to start in summer 2026.
